Sinning
The Bible is very clear on sin and its removal from the universe and human beings. It is clear that Jesus did not come to die for our sins while allowing us to continue in them for the rest of our lives until Jesus returns to earth for his saints, and presumably only then to remove sins from humans. The battle with sin, known as sanctification, may be a lifetime, but victory must be certain by one’s complete desire after conversion to walk in the Spirit so as to not manifest sinfulness continually. As we grow in Christ daily he, with our consent, removes sin from each one of us. Here are a few texts that show the battle and victory over sin.
