Spiritualism

1.  The Bible condemns all forms of communication with evil angels, called spiritualism.  Ex. 22:18; Deut. 18:10-12.

2.  In His ministry Jesus always cast out devils from people.  Mat. 8:16.

3.  Satan sought to deceive Jesus as he seeks to deceive us.  Mat. 4:3-11.

4.  Jesus gave his disciples the authority to cast out devils from individuals.  Mark 3:14, 15; Mark 16:17.

5.  Evil angels are the ones that rebelled with Satan in heaven and were cast out of heaven.  Rev. 12:7-9.

6.  Satan and his angels are always seeking to destroy God’s people.  Eph. 6:11-13.

7.  At the end of time Satan and his angels will be destroyed completely. Mat. 25:41;Rev. 20:10, 15.

8.  Paul in his ministry also cast out devils from individuals.  Acts. 16:16-18.

9.  God’s people must continually resist the devil through Jesus.  James 4:7.

10.  It is expedient that we study the Bible to know these truths in order to share them with others.  2Tim. 3:16, 17.
